Agnivaah flame mark

The sacred art of slow smoke

Incense as it was a thousand years ago — resin, flower, and flame. Never bamboo.

The Agnivaah difference

Most incense burns wood.
Ours burns only the offering.

A conventional agarbatti is a bamboo stick dipped in charcoal paste. Most of what you smell is burning wood — not fragrance. We start from zero, without the stick.

No bamboo core

Our sticks are extruded entirely from fragrant paste — flower, resin and natural binders. There is no wooden core releasing acrid smoke into your home.

No charcoal, no fillers

We never use charcoal dust or petrochemical accelerants. The burn is slower, cooler, and dramatically lower in particulates.

Temple-grade botanicals

Steam-distilled oils, halmaddi resin and sun-dried petals, hand-rolled in small batches the way mathadi artisans have for generations.

Three breaths to stillness

Kindle

Hold a flame to the tip until it catches, then let it breathe for a moment.

Wave

Gently fan out the flame. A single ember should glow at the tip.

Rest

Set it in its holder and do nothing at all for forty-five minutes.

Festive gifting

A gift that fills the whole house

For Diwali, housewarmings and quiet thank-yous — our gift sets pair three fragrances with a hand-cast brass holder, wrapped in khadi paper.

“It smells like a temple at dawn — without the heaviness of ordinary agarbatti.”
